About Rhonda S. Bennett
Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney & Hobbs, P.A. proudly recognizes Rhonda S. Bennett as a Retired Attorney of the firm.
Ms. Bennett graduated from Florida State University in 1981 with a degree in government and later entered the Florida State University College of Law in 1987, following several years as a paralegal specializing in complex litigation. After earning her J.D. and graduating with high honors in 1990, Ms. Bennett joined Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney & Hobbs, P.A. and became a firm partner in 1995.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bennett was known for her dedication to representing individuals who suffered serious injury due to negligence, with a special passion for protecting the rights of the elderly and those with physical and mental disabilities. She played an important role in the firm’s efforts to obtain recoveries in excess of one million dollars for clients and their families.
Within the office, she was affectionately referred to as “the walking library” and was widely respected for her sharp mind, her willingness to teach, and her commitment to excellence.
Ms. Bennett retired in 2025, and the firm remains grateful for her years of service and lasting contributions to our clients, our team, and the Tallahassee community.
Personal Life
Ms. Bennett and her husband, Dan, moved to the Bradenton area during the COVID lock-down, and she now enjoys time at home overlooking Terra Ceia Bay. Ms. Bennett enjoys spending her leisure time at the beach, remains an animal lover, and is a passionate FSU football fan.
