Ryan Hobbs re-joined Brooks LeBoeuf as a shareholder in August 2024 after previously being a partner at the firm from October 2014 through January 2023. He is a prominent member of the legal community and a sought-after attorney throughout Florida.
Ryan focuses his practice on representing individuals and business in diverse business litigation matter, particularly in employment law. His comprehensive understanding of employment-related issues is showcased through his representation of cases in state and federal courts. He also routinely handles personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death matters.
Prior to joining Brooks LeBoeuf, Ryan gained valuable experience at prestigious Florida law firms. He represented businesses, individuals, and governmental entities as an associate at Bryant Miller Olive, P.A., and managed the Tallahassee office of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. while handling commercial litigation and employment law matters.
Ryan was recognized by the Florida Super Lawyers publication as a Rising Star in the category of Business Litigation from 2012 through 2022. In 2016 he was named in the Top 40 under 40 by the National Advocates.
Mr. Hobbs received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Florida State University in 2004, Summa Cum Laude, and earned his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Mr. Hobbs was a Dean’s Fellow, a member of the Dean’s advisory council, and served as a judicial extern at the North Carolina Court of Appeals for Judge James A. Wynn, who is now a federal appellate court judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
