About Craig Richards
Attorney Craig Richards is a partner at Brooks, LeBoeuf, Foster, Gwartney & Hobbs, P.A. A native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who began his legal career with a focus on insurance defense, employment law, commercial litigation, auto accident defense, premises liability defense, and education law. Throughout his career, he has represented and provided counsel to large corporations on various tort and employment law matters. Craig has litigated in Florida's state and federal courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
Before entering law school, Craig earned a triple major in International Relations, Political Science, and Economics from Florida State University. During his time at Florida State, he served as Senior Vice President and was an active member of both the Seminoles Football and Lacrosse teams. After completing his Juris Doctor at Mississippi College School of Law, he gained experience at an insurance defense firm in Tallahassee, Florida, before shifting his focus to advocating for individuals who need representation the most.
Craig is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Florida Bar, and the Tallahassee Bar Association, where he serves on the Board of Directors. Craig is also involved with the Capital City Justice Association.
