Mr. Hobbs, a seasoned attorney with a distinguished career in business and employment law, brings his extensive expertise and reputation for client advocacy back to the Tallahassee office.
Mr. Hobbs is well-regarded throughout Florida for his deep understanding of complex employment law and business litigation issues, representing clients in both state and federal courts. His comprehensive experience extends to personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents and wrongful death, where he is dedicated to pursuing justice for injured clients and their families.
Mr. Hobbs originally joined Brooks LeBoeuf in 2014 and served as a partner until early 2023. After gaining additional experience at renowned Florida firms, including Bryant Miller Olive, P.A. and Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., where he managed the Tallahassee office and handled high-profile commercial litigation cases, he now returns as a key member of the Brooks LeBoeuf team.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hobbs has received numerous accolades, including recognition by Florida Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation from 2012 through 2022. In 2016, he was named one of the National Advocates’ “Top 40 under 40,” a testament to his exceptional contributions to the field.
A proud alumnus of Florida State University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2004, Mr. Hobbs went on to earn his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2007. During law school, he served as a Dean’s Fellow, was active in the Dean’s Advisory Council, and gained invaluable experience as a judicial extern to Judge James A. Wynn at the North Carolina Court of Appeals, now a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
