The law firm of Brooks, LeBoeuf, Bennett, Foster & Gwartney created the Freedom Scholarship essay contest to assist students in achieving their educational goals while encouraging patriotism. Through the years, we have been fortunate to meet some of the brightest high school students in our area. We are very proud of their accomplishments and are excited to see what the future holds for each of them as they enter college and pursue their chosen careers.

We received our first submission for the 15th Annual Freedom Scholarship Essay contest and one high school junior or senior from Leon, Wakulla, Jefferson or Gadsden county will win our $2,500 scholarship. The deadline for essays is April 10, 2015. For more information, please visit our scholarship page to download the application or see the past winners.
