Ronald W. Brooks, the firm founder, is a 1970 graduate from the Florida State University College of Law. After law school he became the chief of litigation for the department of Transportation. Mr. Brooks left the Department of Transportation in 1976 to enter private practice and served as a partner in the law firm of Brooks, Callahan, & Phillips where he was engaged primarily in the field of corporate and insurance defense litigation. In January of 1987 Mr. Brooks joined with Dean R. LeBoeuf to form Brooks & LeBoeuf, P.A. where he remained until he retired in 2000. Since then, he and his wife Jean, have been sailing the Caribbean. Mr. Brooks is truly missed but we enjoy visits from him when he is in town.
